a tree to be found一棵沒人種的樹

2003

The concept of the installation ‘A tree to be found’ was based on the traditional Chinese Painting of the Hell. The text was first created. Then, I developed and modified the techniques of the Chinese paper sculptures employed in the Chinese traditional rites and ceremonies of offering to gods and ancestors in order to install an exhibition about an imbalanced city. Horses, sheep, cows, dogs, human beings and insects of the exhibition reflect different situations in real life. More than 50 sculptures and paintings, together with performances, presented the distorted relationship among various living creatures in the city.
